
Beijing Capital Airlines:
Based in Beijing, China, Beijing Capital Airlines Company Limited was previously known as Deer Airlines Company Limited which was founded in 1998, and jointly funded by Hainan Airlines Group and Beijing Tourism Group. The company was subsequently divided into ‘chartered operations’ as Deer Jet, and ‘scheduled operations’ which was officially named Beijing Capital Airlines in April 2010 and commenced operations in May 2010. The service destinations encompass 99 countries in 257 international cities and 155 domestic airports.
Tianjin Airlines:
Tianjin Airlines Company Limited, based close to Beijing, was established in June 2009. Tianjin Airlines is part of the Hainan Group, which operates six airline companies. As at September 2010, Tianjin Airlines was operating 79 Jets and had a staff of more than 2200 people, including over 800 pilots. Since 2009 Tianjin Airlines has developed over 130 routes, in over 60 cities, including 8 overnight bases.
With a rapid expansion rate of at least one new aircraft per month, Tianjin Airlines is expected to have 150 aircraft by 2013 including the Airbus A330 and A320. By then, its network will cover 100 cities around China with 500 routes. During this period Tianjin Airlines also plans to develop regional and international flights.
Sichuan Airlines:
Based in Chengdu, Sichuan, The Sichuan Airlines Group was established in 1986 with operations commencing in 1988. The Groups shareholders include; the Sichuan Provincial Government; China Southern Airlines; Shandong Airlines; Shanghai Airlines; & Gingko Restaurant. Current employee numbers exceed 4,000 and its fleet includes thirty-eight Air Bus A-320s, including the first A-320 assembled in Tianjin by FLAC. The flight services cover 52 domestic cities and several international destinations. The company has received ISO9000 certification.
